I've been talking on the phone with my fiance all day. Because of the stupid snow, we haven't been able to see each other in about a week. And we're both going insane missing each other. Good news is that it looks like it's clearing up and we are going to spend the whole day together tomorrow. I love him SO much.

Right now, though, I'm waiting for him to call me back. He had to charge his cell because the battery died we talked for so long.

Booze promises to kill the pain, but it rarely does. Sleeping is always a time-killing option, but you can only do that for so long. Since you can't leave your house I guess that leaves... looking around your house and seeing what you might have put in there that would be of any interest to you. Is there anything at all inside your house that you enjoy? If not, then maybe you could occupy some time by sitting down and writing a list of what things you WISH were in your house for you to enjoy, and then next time you are able to leave your house try and see if you can get even one thing off of your list. If you do this consistently over the space of just a few months you will have a house with MANY things you enjoy in it! But try to keep booze at the bottom of the list - as a drug it usually doesn't produce healthy results.

I'm sitting here dreading another lonely night :(

I am sitting here listening to my four year old scream because things aren['t going his way. Rotten brat LOL. We did it though and have noone else to blame.

Finally catching up w/everything online and doing lots of thinking.

I just got home from the hospital, and just feel grateful to be home.

I'm about to eat a Bacon Cheeseburger. I have been sleeping most of my day away. It's been lovely.

Phoenix, do you like to read? I have a Nook and can download books, so I don't have to go to the bookstore. Just a thought.

Also, sometimes I spend hours googling random stuff. Like last weekend, I googled the Supremes and learned a whole bunch about them. One topic usually leads to another & I learn interesting stuff while killing time. And not drinking.

I prefer to take my anxiety meds and slip into my dream world...I am in the same place you are so I am no help! But your post has brought up lost of ideas that seem helpful. Thanks!
