Hi everyone,
Just surfing the DS, I've noticed that us bipolars create the most traffic here. This is true even in other groups. I guess we carry the site. :)
So with that in mind, I suggested to Doug to branch the board into
1) 'Technical', that would deal with questions like 'Does anyone else lie awake half the night unable to sleep, and what do you do about it?' or 'I'm on lithium, and gaining a pound a day, anyone else have this problem?', and
2) 'Social', which would take posts like 'Hi, I'm new', 'Hi, I'm bored', 'Hi, wanna hear a joke or an inspirational quote from the Bible?', 'Hi, I've never been so depressed in my life', and all the other social interaction we have with each other daily, for better or worse.
I know a few other people think it is needed and might work. Can you guys respond to this thread if you're for it? Then I can email Doug about it and he can see and decide whether to branch the board or not. Please don't elaborate in this thread, just add your name if you'd like the idea.

2)Make three boards - Newbie, Social and Technical
3)We do need to seperate. Newbie posts, and others, get buried under everyone elses BS. Most of us don't even check page two.
My opinion.
What are they pansies? They're bipolar for pete's sake...they can handle anything if they've survived this long.
