No, that's never happened to me. I just feel really good when I'm manic, and do things I shouldn't be doing, haha.

No. But I did get that when I drank a lot.

yes there are things ive done when i was manic that i just cant remember doing. mostly things i said to people.

I half remember things, but forget little details until someone reminds me.

Are you sure you didn't slip into a micro episode of psychosis ?
In psychotic episodes , black outs are common.

In severe manic episodes I have had vague memories and like reply #3 said, if I am reminded, sometimes things will come back to me

I have seen video footage of me when manic and I am a totally different person. It's frightening! I don't remember most of it. I'm scared of bumping into pple that I know just in case I'm reminded of something else that I've done whilst manic. Nightmare!

No that has never happend to me sorry. But like Dobie said I have forgotten things from drinking too much lol. Dobie you crack me up!

I suggest you tell your doctor or psychiatrist and your therapist if you have one. Besides psychosis, another possibility is disassociation.... But it could be something else, I'm not sure.

Yes,that happened to me a number of times. I think the weirdest episode I ever had was when I had a psychotic manic episode in October 2008. A couple of days in hospital and this very handsome therapist (reminded me of George Clooney) knocked on the door and asked,"May I come in?" I said yes and then he asked if I remembered him. I said no. "I did your intake," he said. I just stared at him."When you first came in,you were very delusional,very ill," he went on. "But once you got the medication in you (Risperdal and Lithium),you were like a different person. You did a 180. We all talked about it."
I've had other episodes like that,but never again met a stranger who said they knew me. Pretty spooky.

Thanx for the replies. I'm just nervous about meeting people who tell me what I've been doing and I've not got a clue.......nightmare! Espcially, since seeing myself as the other person on video.....I'm horrified.
