I was wondering if you suspect there is a correlation between being bisexual and bipolar?
I have always liked both sexes, but suppressed my desire for women when I was in a relationship with a man.
Now, that I am not in any relationship, I find I am looking to pursue my attraction to women, with little interest in men.

A few mounths a I joined a dating website, and caught the attention of this really Beautiful girl, we started talking and I really fell for her, couldn't get off my mindAnd couldn't wait to talk to her, I was crazy about her. Now, I don't know anymore, I still talk to her, but, find myself not inerested anymoreI juat don't want to start dating her and have her figure out that I'm not...

This can mean we are attracted to someone because they are vibrating at a level that we are on at that particular time, but then when the issue is resolved, then we move on to something else that enamours our minds or hearts.
Sexuality is an emotional acting-out of unresolved issues, whether it be the attraction factor or whether it be sexual expressions themselves.
I've read a book a few years ago written by a psychologist (If men could talk, this is what they'd say), all about male sexuality, and one of his clients claimed he strongly desired anal penetration, even though he had always 'felt heterosexual'. This stemmed back to his desire for a strong father-figure, in a nut-shell, as his own father was 'emotionally-unavailable' and he felt lost.
So, whilst on the surface we may feel an attraction playing out or a sexual-act acting out, underneath the surface there is more going on than meets the eye.
That's my take on sexuality, anyhow. Obviously, I respect others' rights to their views as I would never force mine onto anyone, but I do feel that, ultimately, same-sex sexual attraction has more to do with psychological factors, and pursuing them may feel necessary to some, but I am of the personal opinion that they do us no real lasting good in the long-term, and that the heterosexual arrangement is the only real basis for lasting happiness, provided both you and they are mature enough to pursue such a course, with a spiritual foundation cementing the same.
As I said, I hope my comments do not offend, but in the spirit of honesty and non-judgement, for none of us are perfect least of all myself, that's my take on the matter. Perhaps there might be a little gem somewhere which may be of benefit, somehow.
All the best,
Bouncing xx
I'm not bisexual, I'm not heterosexual, I'm just me. Thanks.
I believe that we can all live a fulfilled life with as little labels as necessary.
I also think what anyone does in the privacy of their own bedroom etc is their business, so it doesn't interest me in the slightest whether it be with the same or opposite sex. At least their getting some! lol As long as it's legal, I have no issues.
I suppose with bipolar it would be related to hyper sexuality more then bisexual at least in my mind..x
