Does anyone else on here have problems making and keeping friends?
I thought maybe if my friends also had what I had that they would understansd me and id understand them. Sounds reasonable? I made friendship with someone with BP recently,however, we both just triggered off of eachother and ended up lashing out back and forth until the friendship was in flames. Now I isolate. Talking on here is pretty unbelievable that im able to do this

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Along with medications DBT saved me from myself, others in how to deal effectively with my emotions...specifically anger and wanting to control...former co-dependent behaviors created A Lot of problems in my relationships...as Arfie pointed out 'boundaries' are Huge part of healthy relationships/friends/romantic.
Friendship is a verb really when you have a friend you need to check in ( which I'm not good at)..,.
I agree with Arfie support group friends are pretty helpful because of the the boundary concept...I need to get more active for sure....in the friend department.
