I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
I am here and I feel your pain!! I too am in menopause with BP and it's really tough to manage some days. I also find that some of the bp meds make the hot flashes worse so talk to your pdoc about that. I just try to ride it out and my poor husband gets to spin the "What mood is she in today?" wheel! Either that or I turn up the AC or put my head in the freezer for a few seconds! We have to laugh at ourselves otherwise it gets depressing. Have you tried HRT? Good luck and let me know what you find out!
but i think i suffer from my cycle being off and bp together,
not the same i know, but it's hard.
head in freezer sounds nice.
sometimes i feel like i could be on menopause, because i get so hot and irritated. totally frantic feeling.
hormones are a really cruel trick when they are playing tricks on you.
i have heard of some herbs being able to help and was advised once by a chiropractor to go to the health food store and get them from the jar to put in tea, one of them was black cohash. i wish i still had that note but i'm sure it can be researched online. he was an intelligent man though, they were probably just the right and specific ones.
i wonder about herbs helping.

Some people ease through menopause no problems....and I have heard that some struggle something fierce.....I have heard that Prozac can help and sometimes hormone therapy, but I don't know for sure.
The hormonal shifts can be quite triggering and I hope you don't struggle too hard with them. (hug)
I feel ya girl.. great big hug for you..x
Anyway THANK YOU ALL
Loads of hugs back

when l have my menopause l will really know about it. I've had hot flashes since l was a 20something ugh hormone replacement here l come.
My system still hasn't regained its heat regulation functions. There isn't enough air conditioning in the world to get me through a Texas summer. I have taken to shaving my head. A shaved head makes it possible to stop a hot flash with a wet cloth.
My hair grows fast and thick enough that I have been a major contributor to Locks of Love, the group that makes human hair wigs for chemotherapy patients. It has been said that wearing my shaved head in public is my best contribution yet. Many chemotherapy patients are not feeling vain enough to want the head girdle. They wear the wigs to ward off invasive questions.
