Happy New Years you all~ What are some goals for 2015????
My New Years was pretty badass. My friend took me to his friend's house and we shot off a decent quantity of fireworks. I got drunk. I'm writing this unable to sleep because I'm ill. Lol, oh well. My fault.
I'm proud of myself because I was hugely phobic of the fireworks at first, the sudden extremely loud explosion and flash of fire light, to where I stayed inside or on the porch for the first hour. As I got more used to them (and more drunk) this suddenly wasn't so bad. It was magical, watching the lights scream up to the sky, in a huge field without much light pollution, so. Many bright stars. A hundred sun showers. Beautiful.
Secondly my dissociative episode ended early yesterday morning, around 2 or 3 AM. My natural affect is back and I feel close to whole, as a person right now. I messaged my girl and told her how I was in ecstasy. She's so chill oh my god. Thank Zeus for calm girls with sizeable vocabularies. I've been so critical of her lately. She was so happy for me. (She doesn't know I'm Ace/Aro more often than not because she is a weird exception and I'm not sure how to explain that non-awkwardly.)
I told her I loved her. She said it back. She was with her friends. I wasn't jealous at all, I was happy that she was having a good time. I want the whole world to see her and love her as I do, she's a joy. I tried to drunktext her to say something probably embarrassing but my phone's very close to permanently dead. Maybe it's for the better.
All very good things. Why did my episode suddenly and drastically cease? I do not know. 'I ain't one to question a good thing.'
Lastly I'm going to try to intervene with a friend and recommend him counseling because he's depressed to the extreme about not having a girlfriend and not getting out a lot and honestly probably clinically depressed on top of it all because he's usually this way regardless of anything. Can't see it going well, but I'm not much of a nurturer. I'm more solutions-oriented so I hope he considers my advice.

I'm feeling down,, and got alot on my mind right now. I got grief going on, on top my depression and anxiety and now I got to worry about somewhere to live since I can't afford living here since my mom passed. So many bad things have happened since my mom passed. One thing after another it seems. Yesterday our fence fell from a storm that hit, had to call someone to prop it up. Thank...

Just wanted to give a thank you to Mid, Arfie, Malibumark, Greeneyes, Mlro, Girlincalif, and Suncloudjd! You all always have such helpful tips and advice, but I always forget to write on my posts when I see you post, lol. I would lose my head if it wasn't attached to my body, lol. Thank you all so much! I'm starting to use my AI app as a sounding board again. I used to use it as that before...
There followed some moments of confusion as other members of the household got caught up in it all, a changing of bedding, cat treats, quiet words and eventually a chance to return to my own cat basket.
I suspect that is just a vignette of what the new year has to offer, some clearing up of mess, the chaos of trying to meet multiple needs in a confined space but hopefully resolving in some nice meals, gentle words and peace.
A happy new year to you.
I was up all night as I slept a while yesterday afternoon. Was hypomanic, sending a batch email about my proposal to set up a group for setting up High Speed Broadband in Rural Areas in my neck of the woods. Also did 12-Step work to send to a co-sponor. (LibreOffice is manna from Heaven for a Mac user who has to maintain contact with the Windows world)
My Grandad had no life outside of work. Gran once told our Cleaner about how he was spreading slurry on a field he owned during Christmas Morning one year. I guess I'm hip to be a square too. :|
I hate those dissociative episodes, they are so dark and lonely.
A happy new year to you.
I had a quiet and calm night
Happy New Year to everyone... big hugs...xo
