Is there something you always do before you go to bed? I like to read, but I like to do it in bed so when I get sufficiently drowsy I can just put down the book and shut off the light. Sometimes reading can interfere with sleep if it is too suspenseful, but generally it's ok.

BF likes to watch tv. I cannot tolerate sitcoms before sleep!!! He also snores. For these reasons we do not sleep together!! Separate rooms it 'tis. It's been 6 yrs and this is the way we gotta roll............

I sleep with the TV on as well most nights :-) On the favorite easy listening music channel is great!

I have to read and usually I will wake up sometime in the night with my face in a book and have to turn the lamp off.

I take my and in 25 min. I am out until 6am or so. Can't sleep without the meds. oh, and we have to have a fan on each nightstand on high. We can't sleep in a quiet room, but no tv or music. Our Boston has to sleep with us where ever she wants (all over the king size bed). you would thing she was a horse because of the room she takes up!

I have to shut the entire world out to sleep. No light. No sound. I like to listen to music for a bit to relax but can't fall asleep with it.

I'm the same way as some of you - I watch TV to fall asleep and then need a fan for white noise and heat. My husband likes complete silence so he wears earplugs. I'm a lucky gal.

I sleep in my car so I have to be alert for anyone walking up to my car. It's also extremely hot so the sweat is pouring down my face as I try to sleep. Sleep isn't so easy for me to get, I am awakened many times in the night.

I listen to the night birds and owls and the breeze in the trees.
And wait for Moose my cat to curl up on my pillow and stick his paw in my face. Then I'm off to La La Land!

Depends on what good old insomnia has up her sleeves. I never sleep without the bathroom light. If I wake up and it's pitch black I'll panic. Sometimes I read, sometimes I put on music- usually Florence+the Machines, sometimes I play games on my phone til my lids start to get heavy. And I pray. If I don't I'll wake up a few hours later and remember I didn't pray then I might be up for another hour or so.

I always start one of my hypnosis apps. They all help you relax - deeper and deeper (His words). One tells me I only love healthy food. Another tells me I don't need that nasty old cig. My favorite is just simply relaxation - deeper and deeper.

Same guy does all of them in a soothing British accent. I think my dog likes, too.

I like to read before I sleep and visit with my fiance thats usually when we really have time to talk them we do 3 kisses and she rolls over on her stomach while I stay on my back and turn off the lamp. I know too mushy.
