For me, my inability to lose weight related to meds, I think, is becuase I have less energy to exercise than I used to. But that could also be from being depressed, and just getting older, too. So it is hard to pinpoint exactly, unless you stopped taking your meds. Which is not a good idea, either.
Whatever the reason, the trick is to find a diet that gives you all the nutrition you need without too many calories. A multivitamin with iron might help with that.
If you eat too light, that can put your body in "conservation" mode, slow down your metabolism even more, and give you an added reason why you can't lose the weight. You have to eat right or it can backfire on you.
Of course, everyone has a different body, but it worked for me.
