Batman anxiety?

I was feeling ok today until my boyfriend and I started watching The Dark Night Batman movie. Anxiety kicked In while watching the movie and I think the movie was the trigger for it. Is that possible? I'm calm now watching The Big Bang Theory.

Maybe it was too much action for my brain or me thinking about Heath Ledger overdosing. That's never happened to me before. The last thing I want to be afraid of is certain movies.

When that movie first came out, I went to see it.

Even then , the movie disturbed me a great deal.

I don't want to sound TOO out there , but I do believe some movies have a spiritual aspect to them....and not always a good spiritual influence.

Then when Heath Ledger committed suicide, I became convinced that that movie did in fact have very negative vibe to it

Movies and stuff have a vibe to them, I get some anxiety from stuff like batman or the crow, just a sense of unease

Oh that Sheldon can scare the shit out of you too on big bang!!JK.I understand exactly what you are talking about. I got orange is the new black bc everyone was raving about it and I just watched the first three episodes and started thinking this is going to be too depressing for me. So I didn't watch anymore. HUGS!!

Racing cars and revving engines make me very anxious. I feel my stomach start to knot up and I'm sitting on the edge of the seat. It's a very unpleasant feeling.

Thanks for the replies. My t doc pretty much agreed with what everyone said. She also said I should have changed the channel and not suffered through. Sometimes I just hate admitting to my boyfriend that I'm suffering.

I hear ya on the suffering. My mom and I were watching "The Generals Daughter" and I suffered through rather than admit that it was triggering deep scarred emotions that were killing me emotionally. So I know what you mean. I won't ever watch it again.
