Just curious what it is. I can see why people would think they can do it. I always have dreams where I can see out side of my body while I'm sleeping. Right down to the creepy shadow my music stand makes.
I also get attacked in my sleep too. This time I drempt I went to costa rico and went down into the creepy catacomes. I spoke to a dark spirit that was a priest. He said they came there to dream. he showed me a vision of people all around in a hazy smoke. I got scared so I tried to wake up but I couldn't. The spirit followed me. He kept trying to take my blankets off and I kept fighting him. I told him to knock it off I wasn't scared. Finally I woke up and took a bath.
the dream was so vivid I'd almost believe it.
But the blanket fight is something I expirience often, that I'm fighting a spirit for my covers. why I don't know.

Yes, I believe "traveling" can occur. It is said that when one can "see" themselves sleeping it is the soul that leaves the body and "travels". There was a book I read that desrcibe this in detail but the name escapes me now. Interesting stuff.
Once I did that I was ready to travel. I did try once but couldn't look at my body without zapping back into my body.
I really felt like i was floating. It was an amazing feeling until I realized I was very ill.
I believe we are capable of leaving our bodies to cross time and other boudaries, we just aren't aware of it consciously.
I'm an alcoholic and I had recently stopped drinking. I have talked to other alcoholics who have had this happen to them too.
Projection Diarrhea.....haha....
I looked this topic up a few months ago, and it can be pretty scary, even deadly if attempted....
I think its pure hocuspocusvoodoo crap personally.
Which is my long winded way of saying - it is dangerous. I don't think we are made to go traveling around without our bodies. It also does point to the fact that we are spiritual beings, though, doesn't it? Rather than just bodies taking up space on earth for a limited amount of time.
