Do you know when you need help? If you do, do you ask for it or try to ignore it?
I have a number for out of hours at my psych hospital, they told me to call if I need to. I cut myself badly yesterday and needed stitches and now I feel the same again. I have an appointment with my pdoc tomorrow, should I just ride it out and keep myself busy or call the number?
What would you do?

Valium isn't really that strong. I don't think it would hurt. Put ya to sleep maybe.

Regina, you plan to drive your son to school after taking all these sleep meds in 4 or 5 hours?

No joan, school is 5 mins around the corner, we walk, I see him across the roads until he reaches the lollipop lady, do you have lollipop ladies over there?

Oh yea, that was a great catch Joan, thanks - I didn't catch that. Yea, don't double the valium if you plan to drive in 5 hours, you will be too groggy still. You would need bout 8 hrs before driving.

He's away working until tomorrow evening, hes maybe 200 miles away right now.
And no I don't go back to sleep, I can never really sleep during the day.
If I had the courage I'd call them but I freak out on the phone and I'm scared of what t hey'll do to me

Regina, If you can keep ringing one of your girlfriends until they wake up I think that is what needs to be done next. Keep calling and calling until they pick up. You need someone to watch your son.

Well if were me, I would just try to calm down to take a nap. if one valium didn't help, you could take a half or another as long as you won't be driving for a while. I had a real bad panic attack one time and took 3 xanax and I told my doc about it and he told me it was ok. Just be sure not to make a habit of it.

I've tried calling but most of them have children and I'm worried I'll wake their children up

I feel pretty calm just wide awake and in a really destructive mood. I tried to watch tv but I couldn't concentrate

I cna't really describe it, I just want it all to go away. I know I'm not doing myself any favours, but I can't help it. I just want to cut something, I keep looking at things and wondering what it would feel like to smash them up.

I've felt like trashing my room while I was manic too. Try not to act on it. I did. My roommates were not impressed! : (

So, we're waiting for your son to get up and then you are going to take him to school.

Can you go to your Pdoc's office early?

I've never thought of going early, I think I'll get on a bus when I've taken him to school and see if they'll see me early. I'm sure even if they wont I'll be in a safe place
