I have to admit that I never learned anything about manners growing up. It was a hostile environment. I was never corrected about how I spoke to someone or saying "please" and "thank you". Giving compliments was never modeled, neither was being corrected for interrupting others.
I learned to be oblivious and often rude. I had to learn this stuff in order to keep friendships and it was, and still is at times, really hard to remember to do.
Maybe it has nothing to do with Nature and is a Nurture (or lack of) outcome instead of BP. Is this something you've struggled with?

Tonight I was in a social setting and could not control myself from interrupting others. I didn't want to, but the impulses were too strong and got the best of me. I decided it would be best to leave. I was disappointed in myself. Tomorrow night we were invited to a xmas party. I'm taking a klonopin before I go.
