Anyone taking Lamitrogine and/or Abilify?

Hey guys I am currently on 300 mg of Lamitrogine and 10 mg of Abilify...anyone else taking these who have been very fatigued? When I don't have things I am forced to get up for, I find myself sleeping for at least 12 hours...this is not normal. Also, since I have been put on Abilify, I have lost a significant amount of weight and my appetite is down...not that I mind being skinnier lol. Has anyone lost weight on Abilify as well? I just want to know if these symptoms are common and/or normal.

I'm on both and don't experience fatigue but the weight gain is a bitch :(

I take Lamitrogine but not Abilify and I never get or got tired I had other side affects at the start, a little weight gain but nothing compared to when I took Depakote. I still have a poor memory and l'm a rapid cycler now but l'm better on it than off, I had fatigue on Depakote and other side effects that left me unable to work in the end so l had a med change.

I have taken Lamitrogine in the past and didn't get much for side effects. I am currently on Depakote(same category) and Abilify and at first all I did was sleep, sleep, and sleep. So I don't believe it is an uncommon side effect especially with anticonvulsants. They pass though with each day. I didn't eat much either. Also individual dependent symptoms as always, but not uncommon. Hope it works well for you! :d

Food tasted funny to me when I was on Abilify.

I couldn't tolerate other side effects either.

Not currently taking either of these meds.

I take both of the too. I didn't gain or lose weight on abilify and I take the lamitrogine at night and have no problem getting up in the morning.

On lamictal and don't have tiredness from it. I was on abilify for a short time and it increased my anxiety.

Abilify (20 mg) pairs with my antidepressant and I also take Lamictal (Lamitrogine). I've not noticed any lasting side effects.

I take both Lamictal and Abilify. Experienced weight gain which caused me to have less energy. Started walking for exercise and my energy level is starting to improve. I wish I could experience the weight loss!

I'm just on the Lamictal and it's helped me quite a bit..
The lethargy is a side effect of many of the meds.. I wish weight loss was a side effect I had..smile
if you feel too drugged violet you might need a change in dosage.. I would talk to your doctor about it

I was on Lamictal and had no side effects or any effect much other than a little more brain noise than usual. Abilify made me not sit still and just frantically walk around and feel like I was crawling out of my skin. It sucked dramatically. If I had stayed on Abilify I probably would have lost weight!

I'm now on Lithium starting on Depakote. I had Depakote before and didn't notice a lot of side effects but that was 1996....it has been awhile.

I tried abilify for a few days a while back and couldn't get past the excessive fatigue. I couldn't even function. But now I'm on lamictal and I don't have any sleepiness.
