Anyone take klonopin?

& if so have you ever gone through with withdrawals when youve stop taking it???

hi, i've taken it for 10 yrs now. i can take up to 3 mg a day as needed.
yes, i've gone thru withdrawals and its not fun.
i feel very anxious,pace for hours, easily irritated and mini seizures.

never quit cold turkey if you can help it...its miserable.

I'm not sure how to feel about it. It has reduced my anxiety quite a bit. I get dehydrated sometimes, and dizzy.

I am written to have it once a night and every 6-8 hours. But usually the only dose I take is the one at night.

I take it as needed but when I was on Geodon it was causing panic attacks so for that year and a half I needed to take the klonopin daily. It took me about 6 months to taper off it and the withdrawals were pretty bad. i was agitated, anxious, my stomach hurt. And I tapered slowly! I can't imagine going cold turkey.

YES! I've taken klonopin for over 10 years now and when I miss a dose or wait too long to take it I feel it bigtme!! Benzo's are notorious for causing things like that Dee. Had I known back when they started me on them, more about them I would have said no way!!

But that was then and this is now.....one day I hope to wean off of them...but with the anxiety that I have and the severity of it, I'll keep'em!

I been on it for many yrs. It helps tremendously with my anxiety. I'm prescribed to take one in the am and one in the pm and one as needed during the day. Once I stopped taking it cold turkey and within 3 days I was in the hospital ER with a panic attack. Thought I was dying. Didn't realize it was withdrawal.

I don't plan on going off it again. It is a good med for anxiety and I don't care about dependency. I need it so I take it.

I have been on Klonopin for several years .
It reduces my anxiety very well.

I have recently started to cut my tablets in half, to slowly VERY SLOWLY) wean myself to a lower dose .

Klonopin side effects have reduced my libido quite a bit, so by reducing my dosage , I hope to get my ZA VOOM back

For people who have severe anxiety, I think it's a great med .

    One day runs into the next I can't seem to keep them straightBut i do know it's Tuesday and I start to clean my landord's place again so it'll keep me going although I take breaks more often nowHe doesn't mind and I gwt it doneI hope that you have a good day and can get done what you need toBig hugz sent..Xo
