i take valium, ONLY when i need it, cause i do have an addictive personality, so im careful with 'em. good luck!
Taking one then re-evaluating the situation that is causing anxiety could be helpful, as long as you don't waste that calm then you should be able to come out of the drug period feeling better.
It's helped so much with anxiety. I can't say for sure that you won't get addicted, but it's been a life saver for me. My voice doesn't shake when I speak to people and I feel a lot calmer about things.
I used to obsess about speaking in a meeting for a week ahead of time. Now I don't even think about it.
So, for me it's worked and I believe it's not addivtive for me and I don't need to keep increasing my dose to feel better.
So, I can only speak for myself....it's been a blessing for me.
Good luck with whatever choice you make.
