Another Request--Poss Trigger

For some reason she couldn't this to post for her.




The last 36 or so hours have been a rough one especially for the dogs in NYC on death row - 3 were killed in reatliation for some supposed wrong that a would be rescuer did - and one is still MIA from that debacle and 14 were killed yesterday morning as a grudge thing related to this also. Today it comes to light that the shelter in Manhattan has kennel space going begging but they are claiming lack of funding for starting the killing hours ahead of schedule

What I would like from you is Blessings/Prayers/Good Thoughts that those who do the pulls/rescues/promoting of these dogs can work faster than the heathens working against us and get them all out today or at least not loose as many

You and the animals are in my prayers sweetie.. this is something I could'nt get too involved with as it would make me ill and I would'nt be able to be much help if I was in a depression.. I hope that you're okay.. if you will give me the Canadian link I will see if I can foster a dog.. I know you said you put it up for me on FB but I couldnt find it.. Im so sorry you are hurting so much.. please take care of you R.. and thanks for putting this up Soss..x

This is so sad. Did you know that the Today Show does a once a week segment to try to get dogs adopted? Maybe this is something that could be brought to the attention of something like that.

Those poor doggies!

Kat that actually isnt a bad idea - the thing being that it has to be done carefully as every dam time NYC ACC thinks their backs are against the wall (and they would be right if the Today show did a segment) they retaliate and the animals pay with their lives.

This goes on in the south - GA and SC have a huge problem with it - in fact sadly 45 animals in a day and an entire shelter in 2/3 days has happened in those states I guess NYC is thinking hey if they can do it so can we. Sickens me

I dont see it as doing anything above what should be done. I don't share the same belief system with most of the world but I do know that not doing something is wrong for me especially where those that can't speak for themselves is wrong .

Sorry my wall gets to you - I try to every so often not plaster it for few hours but right now we are against the clock more than usual so I admit that the dogs are getting all of my playtime right now

If someone can kill an innocent animal without a thought, they can do it to anyone. My thoughts and positive energy go out to these wonderful creatures. As a rescuer of cats, I cry when I hear about the wrong doing toward any animals, dogs included. Sometimes I think that the animals are smarter than the humans.

I dont live in some fantasy world under the delusion that the dog/cat population isn't out of control and that yes some unfortunately must be put down nor have I ever believed that humans can't be sick and depraived enough not to commit the things I have had experience with but unfortunately every day I am taught that we as a species can sink lower and lower. And not only those not in authority but those with power to call the shots

I have a Native American friend who says to be kind but balance compassion with common sense. Gladys says that animals are kind of like wayward children-they've got to have compassion and guidance.

Thanks all - just looking over the saved list(s) for NYC and the gone but not forgottens and its not looking as bad as it could have been considering the vendetta. Manhatten started early this morning but no way near the same amount put down - tho there is a ton of them for tomorrow (so if you still got prayers we could use them) and tho it can't be said most days for today there was more in Brooklynn's saved files then in the gone but not forgotten one and I do believe the prayers afford here today helped
