Just got home from another stay in the hospital. I went to the emergency room last saturday for suicidal thoughts, depression and cutting. Spent two days in the ER then got involuntarily committed to another hospital. Turns out its the same one I went to last time when I actually tried to commit suicide. The pdoc I saw there said it sounds like I've been having mixed episodes where its a combination of hypomania and depression. All I know is that the way I've been feeling really fucking sucks. Overall I do feel better but I'm not out of the woods. Got a few days off before going back to work and I'm just going to try to take it easy, relax and focus on myself. Got a pdoc appointment for monday and a therapy appointment for tuesday. I'm trying the best I can, I hope its enough to get me through this.

A lot of hospitalization so make us feel a little worse for the wear. Good on you for getting yourself to a place to get medical support.
Figuring out that you have had a mixed episode is key as mixed episodes are sneaky and hard to know when you are in one.
Even better that you have appointments coming up in the next week to structure in more support. Pagan it's hard in the beginning to find your way in this topsy turvey world it sounds like you are taking positive steps. (((((Hugs))))) this too shall pass.
