I know I'm sounding like a smart ass but really trying to understand how all encompassing this is for you.
Wishing you some comfort...you can feel comfort yes?
I understand the sentiment behind wishing me comfort, but I don't feel comfort. Thank you anyway. I have been eating healthier and losing some weight which is an actual goal of mine, yet I feel no pride or pleasure from accomplishing that. I accomplish things intentionally to feel the happiness and pride that should come from accomplishing things you set out to do, but I don't feel it. I thought I'd feel good about myself by "paying it forward" and I bought 3 different strangers meals without them knowing about it until after I had gone (3 separate occasions). I did nice things for complete strangers, and I felt no different. I've done extra things with my children and I take no pleasure in spending time with them or talking to them. I've been isolating for months b/c I simply don't enjoy talking b/c I have nothing good to talk about. I finished technical school yesterday. For 6 months, I have gone to school and I am a straight A student, but there's no sense of accomplishment. Compliments annoy me rather than make me feel good.
I spend my time killing time. I just try to get today over with... every day.
Till then I'm doing the med route, and forcing myself to do things, hoping actions will change my thinking. Its hard!
Right now I'm doing well, a new med - so I'm all about fight your pdoc for something More trials...
