My life is an utter mess right now. I'm having a really hard time coping. I'm about 5 weeks into an unexpected pregnancy. I was taking Depakote and I'm stressing out about possible birth defects plus the pregnancy itself. No one in my life is being the least supportive right now.
My boyfriend, my mother, and my father are all getting pushy saying that I should consider terminating the pregnancy. I have physical health issues that I haven't gotten a diagnosis for yet (the neurologist is still trying to figure it out). Apparently no one thinks I can take care of this baby if I have it. Not one of them is being supportive right now.
I just got back from my first prenatal appt. My dad took me. He spent the ride home talking to me about how I need to consider my own health and if I think I can take care of a baby. Yes. I do think I can, I've done it three times already. It doesn't matter what I think, it's all about what they think and their worries. No one seems to care what I think or what my worries are.
I'm completely off all medication now. I'm dealing with pregnancy hormones. I'm hypomanic and having anxiety issues. I'm just plain miserable and I don't feel like anyone cares what I'm going through. I just need someone to care. Sorry for the long post, thanks for listening.

went to the specialist with my mum and husband and she just stated outright oh she will have a hystorectamy.(sp sorry) she wouldnt give me a say in the matter. hub was asking questions and in the end the dr said. Rachel go away and think about it. he was very sensible.
mum didnt talk to me for a week my hub and I talked and decided that it was the best thing for me. but we needed time to talk and think and did we want more children.
in the end i went for the op and it did iimprove my life, but family must let you make your own choices, dont let them dictate to you.
