Hi gang.  I found out today that I can get an emotional support animal even though my apartment complex doesn't usually allow animals.  I have been around and around about this over the last couple weeks.  I finally got to see my pshchiatrist today and got a letter of recomendation,YAY.  She was out for a week and a half, my other Dr and therapist were unable to fufill my request and the property owner (not the manager) kept telling me she REALLY didn't want animals in the complex.  I was afraid I was going to lose my apartment just for asking for the exemtion.  I was distraught and felt truely suicidal for the first time in a long time.

Well the manager got ahold of me and was very kind and understanding.  He told me there was no risk of me getting kicked out and the apartment is mine for as long as I want.  That was a relief I can't begin to explain.  He also said if I got the paperwork, yes I can have an indoor cat.

Now I am in the process of finding just the right love bug to adopt and keep me company.
