First of all, wanting him to experience the love of a child is considerate on your part. But, before his feelings, have you considered the child that will be brought into the world? Considering the child first enable you to sit down and discuss other options. Not that many children are not raised in blended families, but you have a choice here. There are many children out there without families that would benefit greatly from being in your, just you and your husband.
Second, I think you have every right to feel jealous. Your partner is asking to be with another sexually, whether they are a man or a woman, it is still an intimate relationship. You cannot put yourself second in all aspects of this decision.
Bringing a child into the world is costly but you already know that. If neither of you are financially stable, what would be the point. Yes, you can love the child, but the stress will deminish all of that.
These are just my thoughts and I hope I havent said anything to make it worse for you. You have a right to these feelings and your partner needs to know that this bothers you. It is a team effort, not a one sided decision.
You might also consider that if the child is born of your husband and this other woman, you are really not the second half of the equation. This too could eventually cause problems.
