Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

Just be careful not to put too much pressure on yourself. You will be a bit nervous -- that's completely acceptable for a first day. You may feel overwhelmed because there are lots of new things to learn and most likely lots of information thrown at you. As don Miguel Ruiz says in "The Four Agreements," just do your best.
What steps are you taking to ease your anxiety and help make your first day successful?
I sure can relate to what you are feeling. I have quite a few crappy jobs under my belt as well.
It sure is hard to unplug from past experiences and hope for the best.
I also find being positive and suspending all judgement an exercise but sometimes it is necessary to put a smile on my face in order to fake it until I make it!
We don't know what your new job will be like but there is such a thing as hoping and praying.... And letting go and letting God.
Good luck to you....
