Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
My children did not witness anything but hearing his yelling and swearing. They did not see me hit him at any time, did not see me get arrested. I would never do that in front of them.
I had not ever hit anyone in my life before this. I do have a written document from my "victim" that there is no history of violence and that I was in the middle of an episode. He has never hit me.
But he is gone now...for the most part. Still some loose ends to tie up. There was quite a bit of drama on his part over some cat food. Ridiculous. I'll be showing the text messages to my lawyer.
Thanks again!
I'm glad this guy will be completely out of your life. He was really no good for you, so don't ever be having any feelings of regret. Don't you dare!
As far as the attorney goes, I agree with the others who say that you have to be completely honest with him and tell him everything. He can't help you if he doesn't know the whole story.
I'm really sorry this whole thing escalated to the place that it went to....it must have been a horrific experience. My thoughts are with you and your kids as you get through this whole court matter.....I hope it's over soon, and that everything turns out okay for you.
