ultra rapid cycler having a little trouble with hypomania the depressions are not that bad but hypomanic most of the time still hearing voices and psychotic



my nurse asked if i want to continue with current or add or meds or take one away 


on lamictal 200 mg and 20 zyprexa i do not think she has read my records just wondering whast meds i can take to feel better

Your case is pretty complicated and I'm not sure this is an answer anyone here can give you. Have you considered seeing an actual Psychiatrist to get some help with this?

Yes. You need a professional consultation. If you're in psychosis and having audio hallucinations, you need to get your butt in to get some help right away.

i see a doctor no help i cannot be stabilized been hearing voices since 1982 when i was in the hospitalized for 6 months

they are afraid to change meds because of paradoxical reactions i was wondering if there is anything new that i can try
was offered by doc vraylar but it can cause insomnia which is just crazy so i declined
this is the way it will be i guess tried a lot of bipolar meds just gave me some relief but not stable it is very treatment resistant and i was hopeful for a moment i know that this is the best i can get
my first doc who diagnosed me said it may go in remission but he did not think so oh well thanks for comments

Ever talked to a Pdoc about ECT? Just a thought. Sometimes Treatment resistant BiPolar needs to be made Treatment Active....

Why you are continuing to take meds that aren't working is beyond me, and why your doctor is allowing you to continue meds that aren't working is beyond me. Maybe they're getting kickbacks from the drug companies.

You already have insomnia. If a new med may cause that, well...no big deal. You're already there, right? But it may actually work, and you may actually be able to sleep more than a few hours.

I don't understand why you want to stay on meds that clearly don't work?

i have tried the others they do not work any better i get some relief from meds but not stable there are no new meds available and i have paradoxal reaction to meds so they worry about trying to change them or trying one of the old ones i have taken the dose of any meds made for bipolars do not work and i would be on such a high dose that i would not be able to function then there are chance of side effects
the are not any new mood stabilizers for me to take
