I don't know if this happens to anyone else -
Do you find your mind completely occupied when doing tasks?
or do you find yourself having a lot of other thoughts while
you are working?
When I am at work - My mind spins about a lot of things.
I have to talk to myself sometimes (very quietly so being sure no hears me) and like say "keep focused Mark..."
It's weird thing to admit to - but it's something that I feel I need to speak about. So often I do the work - and am not even able to tell you if I like doing it or not - simply because I usually am just glad to have the work to keep the spinnings at bay... I like a lot of activity.
thanks for reading.
Peace,
Mark

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

Like that?
I want to suggest an 'alternative" here, since Mark has brought it up: First, I do these physical exercises in the morning now. ...which isn't the problem, lol, but I Do them to strengthen myself, and some of them are arm exercises. A while after I starting doing them I was hanging up drapes in the living room and I noticed my arms didn't Hurt the way the used to, when I held them over my head for awhile...
It's because I had been doing exercises. ...which still isn't the point...my point, is meditation.
Some people imagine meditation as this thing where people sit in yoga positions and mumble funny words over and over...it doesn't have to Be that, but meditation is a time you spend, every day, exercising your Focus. And it's Helping me with this stuff :)
You pick something, like your breathing, or a point on the wall, or maybe an image (depends on you) and you Focus on it, until all the 'busy-ness' in your mind, all the distractions, stop and your mind gets Still and Quiet, and you think only about your breathing. Or the point on the wall. Or the image of something.
See, after awhile, when you are working or somewhere and your mind gets all Busy again, you have this benchmark of practice from meditating and you know how to find your Focus again, by imagining ONLY the thing you are working on....the mind is like a muscle that can be exercised and made stronger in this way. No weird-ness, lol - just a way to Deal with the "busy mind" thing we all have.
It's a possibility :)
