I'm taking this great acting class in Providence. Our assignment from last week is to write a monologue about something that pisses you off.... I'm having a difficult time getting it started...

Maybe your opinions could help get some ideas flowing for me. What pisses you off?

People who bump into you and dont say sorry.
Or .... people who eat really noisily, kids who play music on their phones really loudly on busses.
Old people who smell like lint sitting next to me on a bus.
People who cant drive.
When it rains on my washing! Just as its dry.

Hmm... people who arent aware of themselves and their actions.
People who cant bring up their kids to be responsable and show respect.

managers who believe in the speel and not the staff.
Adverts on the TV that repeat every 2 minutes sometimes more than once in the same ad break. STOP AD SPAMMING ME!

I hate waiting in line. Either you have someone in front of you who thinks they can send their spouse or kid back for something they forgot never thinking that it will take at least 10 minutes and it will inconvenience someone else. I hate people who allow their children--who are too young to handle a shopping cart-- run the cart into the back of me repeatedly. I hate people who think if they stand closer to me they might get to check out sooner. I hate people who want to explain why they are buying fifty pounds of rice--as if I have noticed or care. I especially hate people who are hateful to their children when they ask for candy or gum--it is called impulse buying in terms of marketing and kids can't help they fall prey to the tactics. Well, the list goes on and on . . .
