Do you have a pattern that makes you curious about what it is you do wrong? Like you don't get what it is but it happens anyway? Every time I care for some one I manage to push them to the point of hating me..

i think it has something to do with confidence. i pull away internally because i'm afraid i'll do the opposite in my need to have people i care about really see me, since most of my life i feel so invisible. that's what it feels like anyway, for me.

i'm actually doing this right now... i'm in a relationship that's having some issues and because of my lack of confidence i've been going back and forth between being really needy and pushing him away completely. i keep thinking he's going to break up with me anyway because i've been so depressed lately.

My problem is I speak before I think sometimes especially when I get intense and I can really screw things up. I am learning to keep my mouth shut! Chugg you appear to have many friends here on DS, maybe its the people that you are befriending that you are pulling to yourself rather than you. Seems to me if they are friends they would know how you are, food for thought ;)

To be fare 2kid, I don't just call anyone friend, and when I can be different to people I truly call friends than to everyone in general..

Hope I didn't offend Chugg, not my intentions, I am sure you have your "friends" as we all do. Hopefully they just know you and allow you to be you, ya know? Hard for me to imagine the guy I read about on DS can actually have someone hate him. I think I understand where you are coming from, its the mouth that always gets us into trouble!

I can relate to this thread sooooooooooooo much...god, did you guys write the story of my life or what?
And I wonder, if we all got together, would we just push and pull each other creating somekind of whirlpool motion?
