Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
I think though for on here, that AA does work. it isn't easy, and you have to want it. but if an old drunk like myself can quit for four years, so can anyone
The support is always a wonderful thing for any of us. Just try and not expect anything and go with the flow. Remember...they are expecting newcomers such as yourself and part of staying sober is through helping you and other newbies.
Best wishes!
I suggest going to an "open" meeting. These are marked in the schedule and anyone can go to them. Then you can check it out without committing to self-describe as an alcoholic. Closed meetings are for them only.
They are great. Well recommended.
