I have had a lot of both during this bout of depression. It is like my brain had to handle stress for so long that it wore out. I can't seem to handle dealing with problems like it used to.
I would lile to be able to take care of myself like I used to. Right now I wish I had someone to hold and console me.

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. ritkat is right, depression sucks...as does loneliness. I used to be lonely while still surrounded by family, isolated because I had no one to express my thinking too. I couldn't explain myself and how I felt... DS helps a lot with reading other people's battles. I still take a few deep breaths and hug my pillow curling under the covers too sometimes.
I Go To Chocolate! Never Fails, doesn't talk back, and leaves when I want it to!
