My wife when she told people what she did was always asked "are you analysing me know?" You will find it a relief to turn off that persona believe me. Or you will burn yourself out, you will see all the obvious mistakes people around you are making, over and over again. You just can't save the world, only those that ask for it..and for your own sanity you will need to do it within the limits that psychiatrists, psychologists or psychotherapists tend to set.
Remember, psychotherapists have "supervisors", these people don't supervise in the normal sense but act as an ear/mentor to discuss cases, how the therapist is feeling about dealing with a case that has significance for them etc etc. They look after themselves. You have to do the same.
But the most important thing is the "healer spirit" or calling. You may be familiar with Jung's "wounded healer" concept too.
