The bright side, is I am short this year due to bad decide on my part and my fiances, and I don't want to rack up more credit that I will have to pay down with my tax return, so I can use the money for another present for my tiny tot- my 4 year old. So yay, for that. I just don't understand why she didn't get me the Captain American Shield I asked for, for my birthday. Instead of a sweater and more make up I am never going to use. So I am Fat and ugly to her.
They'll get real irritated by it afterawhile. It works wonderfully for assholes.
She isn't stupid with size, I shop with her and her daughter all the time.
Its very hard to mistaken which section of the store you are shopping in... and for me a 1x 16 w is bad, ( for me) for someone it may look fab. on them, but me. no.
Been there, during my pregnancy and right after my son- never again- I am still 30 lbs more then I was when I was 18. Still, working on that.
Glad you could return the massive sweater. If it's 'the thought that counts', well the 'thought' behind the gift is suggestive of malice? But on the face of it, this is where they are clever, it's a present, goddammit, what are you- ungrateful??? My mother would buy utter shyte for me and then wax lyrical about the tremendous thought put into the choosing of the high-sided pottery tealite. Which when lit, obscured the flame and light from view altogether....LOL... I mentioned to the old dear I was thinking of getting a new cutlery set with soup spoons (la DEE da!) and Ma shot in with "you don't need that, I never had soup spoons..." wtf? My early Xmas pressie, a cheap cutlery set (notable absent, soup spoons) that I have felt obliged to use ever since! Meanwhile, in the cupboard is the beautiful elegant s/s cutlery set with soup spoons, you know it, that I had every intention of purchasing but currently am not enjoying. Aarghh.
PS The bird's are singing, what are ya on drugs?? :)
