a blast from a furnace

It's so hot outside, you open the door and it feels like a blast from a furnace hitting you. And I had to walk 3 miles in it today. The heat boiling up from the sidewalk and sweat stinging my eyes. It's only going to get worse and there is no way out of it except to move out of state. Five more months of this hell.

Do the best you can. I used to live in Phoenix, emphasis on "used to". Wear a hat and hydrate!

Agree with jstalilrunt...Sac area gets pretty hot, but Vegas is certainly hotter !

And to think, my daughter wants me to move to Arizona !

I beg my son to find a friend who has a pool so we can go visiting!!!! Totally joking around about that!! lol

Sorry it's so hot where you live....I cannot stand the heat, wish Spring would just stick around all year long!!!

Can you buy a kiddie pool and set that sucker up, hell I would be in one in a heartbeat if I were that hot!!! Drink lots of ice water that always helps the body temp!!!
