Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
Idk. I'll just be glad to see my therapist tomorrow.
I think it's odd that we usually have the energy to feel bad when we could do better by using the same energy to feel good. What do you think?
This may seem completely off topic, but my Dad always told me that the events in our life happen in their own time and usually work out to our best interest.
I can't tell you how many times I just couldn't get out of the house on time in the mornings . . . you know, you get up early and still just can't get things together.
I used to always get stressed about running late, and my Dad would say don't rush just take your time and drive like you normally would.
More than one time I have been running late and I would come up on a wreck and if I had been running my normal schedule I could have been in that exact place at the time of the wreck. There are other examples with other things.
So maybe just maybe you need to be 9th on the list; perhaps the right housing for you isn't available yet. I know you are eager to get into your own place and it is difficult to wait. Still I often believe if we are patient events will work out in our best interest.
Stay positive and if you can give your case worker a chance. Being new on a job can be overwhelming when you first start, and it takes time to get yourself up to speed. She might just turn out to be a really good case worker.
Many, many hugs,
Tracey
