What to do?

Been having verbal fights with my boyfriend. he is saying negative things and seems not to be very happy these past three weeks. he says it must be nice to blame my behavior on a Mental Illness. I don't by the way however there are things that I can't control and he thinks that I can. Which to me is not fair. There are other things he says that makes me feel very sad and hurtful. he seems to think I make him feel like less of a man because he can't work right now due degenerative disc disease in his lower back. What should I do?

I would say "Oh yes it is so NICE to live with a debilitating MI" when he makes comments about you using it for an excuse. To me it sounds like he's projecting his feelings of being inadequate bc of not being able to work onto you bc that his how he feels.I hope you get support for yourself dealing with bp bc he doesn't sound like he's all that helpful. just my take on things.

Not too many people come up to the 'off topic' posts... If you post under the general bipolar category more people will see it

I think people know if they're treating someone else with disrespect... Sometimes biting ones tongue until a sense of calm is restored I think is the best thing to do... Bashing each other will just lead to more strife

Look beneath the anger to find the cause of it....xo

Hannabean. I feel guilty writing this because its going to sound harsh. Ask yourself is he worth keeping as boyfriend. The pluses are worth the minuses for you.
