Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

Lately I've been a blubbery mess, I would say this seems to happen somewhat from early fall through to the late winter (almost my mid March birthday)....something about feeling emotionally cold and lonely, feeling like I am getting older with nothing to show for it and nothing to look forward to. My t-doc and grandma seem to sort of minimize and blow off what I feel. My mom is hugely empathetic and kind but also has a limit, since she has bp. Do any of you cry at the drop of a hat-song, scene in a movie or tv show, something you read, heat, etc...cry yourself to sleep sometimes?
I feel like I really am losing it :-(

When I was crying every day for almost no reason, I did tell my doc & we upped the Prozac. It worked.
Crying at something sad is "normal", crying everyday because everything seems bad --that sounds like depression.
Could you possibly have Seasonal Affective Disorder? (winter depression?)
