It's time for you to get up!! Er, I think. These time differences always confuse me!!

Aussie (east coast) is 15 hours ahead of Little Rock (US central time?)

Which makes it sunday morning and sunday morning is for sleeping in. Well there you go. Now my neighbour has started mowing his lawn.

You are funny. So you would be about 14 hours from me. I am in the EST. Think north of Atlanta, Georgia.

that sounds about right. funnily enough, you would only be 12 hours ahead of our west coast.

So..........we are literally on opposite sides of the earth. That is awesome. Another thing I can never keep straight is how if it's summer here, it might be winter there. It's summer here now. What is it there?

The last month of winter. But Brisbane (where I am ) is sub tropical, wo we don't really get a winter.

Here's another strange but true...in summer, two states on the east coast have day light savings (New South Wales and Victoria) while the third (Queensland) doesn't. So Queensland is an hour behind the other two states, even though the states are technically in the same time zone. Confuses the hell out of everyone.

That is crazy!! About as crazy as me!!!!!! ;)

Winters and summers are opposite depending if you are on the north side or the south side of the equator right? That's why Southern Florida is sub tropical because it is closer to the equator, right? I think that's the reason.

That's right. It depends on the hemisphere you are in. The closer the tropics, the better the winter. Of course, our summers are very humid.

There is actually a theory that when you pour water down a sink, it rotates in opposite directions in the northern hemisphere compared to the southern hemisphere. Forgot to test that one when I was in Arkansas.I think ours flow counter clockwise. What about yours?

I just went to the sink and tried it. It went clockwise! Holy smokes that's weird!

okay, now Why is that? I could probably google it, but you tell me. Why does the water flow that way?

I honestly don't know. It may be the same force that makes Americans drive on the right hand side of the road while we drive on the left. The answer probably lies deep, deep within the origins of the universe.

Speaking of the universe......did you know that gravity is a myth? There is no gravity - the earth sucks.
