(If only it WORKED better!!!!)
Sigh. I hope you can keep from indulging in it.
The momentary escape -- if you're fortunate enough to have it affect you that way -- only makes things worse, in the long run.
Or at least that's how it (didn't) work for me.
I hope they CAN manage to squeeze you in. Sometime REALLY soon!!
And that you then get the help you need.
I'm so sorry that you're in the place you are right now.
(((((Hugs)))))
Sorry you're going through this right now. Sending good thoughts your way...
Stay out of sunlight and keep the rooms your in dim
Eat turkey or take Raw honey, a couple spoonfuls, an hour before laying down ( they both have tryptophan to help induce sleep). Make sure the room is as dark as you can get it.
Lay down and close your eyes anyways. Even if you don't sleep. It may help rest your brain.
Play restful music, watch restful non stimulating tv or movies.
Stop drinking it just makes the episodes more intense.
I am thinking of you, hoping you can get a med adjustment or just the meds you need soon.
And a big HUG to you. This will pass, you just need to hang on and know that you have friends here.
