Nope, didn't drop the E. I'm big on tea. Loooove. I'd have it all day, every day. In Ja we use EVERYTHING to make tea. I've had a number of tree leaves and random vines as well as fruit peelings boiled and served as a nice cup of tea. Is that a Caribbean/Jamaican thing or is everyone else that adventurous? This morning I had orange tea made from dried orange peel that was then steeped in hot water.Yummy stuff. Mum's tried and true insomnia cure is soursop leaves. I've tried it and it works sometimes. I think guava leaves are good for diabetes. I have a book about them. Yeah, someone wrote a whole book about it. So let's hear your tea story then.

Due to my increased paranoia, anxiety, and a panic attack over the weekend, my psychiatrist has put me back in a full dose of Zyprexa until further notice. Every time I think I'm getting ahead something happens and it's back to square one. I knew he was gonna do this but I can't help feeling disappointed. It is what it is.

I'm sure glad that you're enjoying yours though sweetie
I guess if I had a story it would be that my mom and dad both loved tea and having a cuppa gives me very fond memories of them so that's nice for me
I'll try different teas but I always go back to my double green matcha tea. My SIL bought me a bunch of fancy ones from Teavana for christmas and they have all kinds of strange things mixed together. Some I like and some I sure don't.
I bet ya'll have some teas for nausea there iam. Those just might come in handy!! But I hope not.
I'm going to make a disclaimer and say idk if the herbs in those yogi teas are safe or not with meds. CMA (covering my ass!)
At home, I have about 3 large mugs of tea before the shower in the morning - one of the joys of being retired. Then several more throughout the whole day. Just regular tea mind and not decaff. I asked my doctor the other day if you can have too much caffeine. He said yes, off course. End of conversation and back to the pleasure of a good cuppa.
Now I can't stop.
But in the summer I do like Iced Green Tea.
You are so lucky iam to have all of those wonderful plants at your disposal!!
I drink green tea...lots of sencha and a daily cup of matcha (yum!)
For black teas, a good earl gray or chai with cardamom and star anise (no cinnamon is best) sweet and milky.
The Teavana was good for awhile but the fruit flavors were too sweet so I gave that whole stash to my nephew. It's a beautiful tea, like a flower bouquet. Now, I am on Tea Forte, also a loose tea. It's great because there are no added sugars. I can always add some ginger honey if I want sweetener.
Tea pots and tea service are a passion for me. Seems I get a new set for every occasion which is okay - you can never have too many tea pots. The ritual is to make the tea and serve myself a nice service in the living room. I love the smell of it steeping, add a little ginger and sip with my pinky sticking out. HA!!
Night time, I just have the "sleepy time" tea. It has me yawning before I finish the cup.
Thanks, Iam, for bringing up the subject. I think I will go make myself a nice tea.
