Everyone is different, and it also depends on what type of bi-polar you suffer from. The person who can answer this question the best is not only your doctor, but a good Pharmacist. I've tried a few and they didn't work. I have heard that Latuda and Lamictal really work well but my doc put me on Depakote starting today. I hope you get the answers you are looking for. as gramy says it does depend on if you are Bipolar 1 or 2. If you are bipolar 1 then I don't think lamictal alone would be a normal choice.

As others have said what works for one may not work for another... as well it depends on your specific symptoms... Work with your psych... It often takes us a while to find the right med regime but you will... Big hug...xo

    Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
