Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.
Hasn't crossed over into my housekeeping yet though. I wish it would.
I obsess about 'doing things' when I start something I can spend hours at a time doing it and I can do the same thing everyday for days. For example if I start playing on my DS. I'll play the same game for a few days sometimes all morning or all evening.
I can obsess over making lists and organising things. For example I've recently been looking at all my Mum's cook books because I'm starting to cook meals. But now I'm on the laptop finding out how many calories are in each ingredients, adding them all up and working out how much the meal will be and dividing it by 3 to find out my portion.
As you can see my OCD effects my eating disorder too.
I also have a problem when making decisions...there has to be certainties, so rather than choosing I roll dice. That way, the dice decide and it's final. I don't have to think about it.
