lay down on my own and try to contain it... mainly by deep breathing and trying to focus my mind away from its 1000 miles an hour routine

but more often that not its time take extra meds

I incessantly bounce my leg(s) and click my teeth together and count in my head and sometimes I will click my teeth to the beat of a song that is in my head. Usually it is an original tune. Sometimes I do that and count.

ha, I bounce my legs - also. One of my old bosses used call me "thumper" because when my bounced my leg, my shoe would tap the floor and she could hear it.

hell, I take a benzo if I can't calm down.

I usually pace around my house or get on the phone with my mom, who also suffers from anixiety. I was in a great routine with exercise and that helped greatly with my anxiety, but I admit my depression over these last weeks have put a damper on that. Sometimes, I'll watch one a my favorite comedies, like Extras, it sometimes drifts me away.

When it becomes too bad I opt for a xanax.

Take a tranquilizer or anti-psychotic. No need to suffer unless you enjoy it.

That's when I crochet compulsively. My hands will even shake as I am doing it. It is not a comfortable feeling. But I find that keeping my hands busy as my mind races in all directions helps me.

Seroquel for me!! Then I have breakthrough anxiety, but it is easier to deal with. Not that stomach hurting kind. The Seroquel takes that away.

Clean my house and anyone else's who will let me. I bounce 24/7/365 unless I am physically sick and even then sometimes so I have gotten pretty good at finding shit to entertain my hyper completly manic ass

I just slept the whole day, pretty much. I don't like to take benzos unless I really have to. If I took them as much as I'm Rx'd to I'd be a zombie 24/7/365. lol.

Now I'm bouncing and I have a killer headache!
