I am becoming more and more anxious, about EVERYTHING. I think that has had ALOT to do with all the problems I had in the past year.
I cannot be around large crowds of people. I don't like it. I went to dinner with my cousin tonight. There was a wait and we were standing in a crowded lobby. I started having a panicky and irritable feeling. Not a full blown panic attack, but close.

I've been on high dose prednisone for pneumonia, and now I am slowly weaning. But lots of symptoms I don't like having, plus overeating has put at least 10 lbs on me. The food is "loud" as the GLP-1 users refer to it.Also pressured speech. Which comes out in my posts. Sorry I posted so much. I just need an outlet for my agitated and irritable brain. Just scroll on by my posts, if they are too...

When I was forced to stop drinking I panicked. It t took a year to see that I could function around people and not get panicky. I was so thrilled!!

Sounds like boosting up on coping skills could help as well like DBT and CBT. They sure have helped me to steer clear of hopelessness and helplessness and negative thinking.
I know how that feels. In fact, until I was prescribed medication for anxiety, I didn't know that people actually don't always feel like they are crawling out of their skin. I'm naturally very curious and had a great desire to interact with others but the stupid anxiety got in the way. Since finding the right medication, anxiety doesn't sabotage me anymore. I hope you can find that type of relief too!
I know not the heathy way of dealing with it
