I survived. It went ok. I didn't stay at my mother's house long enough for an hissy fits to break out. We opened presents, her husband made us dinner and I left at 5:00. So was there for about 5 hours. I am glad I had an excuse to leave. I went to a friend's house. Stayed for a few hours and then left. It was a low key day. Grateful for the meaning of the Holiday but glad that the other crap is over.

Hello everyone IAM back in the mental health unit at hospital I've been sectioned under the mental health act for my own safety my daughter as been taken into care
I managed to survive, too. I'm in quite a bit of physical pain right now and I (and I'm admitting this) was a bit of a whiner. My hubby felt bad for me and we left the party at his grandmother's house early. Came home thankfully and opened presents. It was a small, quiet Christmas --- exactly how I like it! 6 people at the party, max.
