i woke up with a high fever. Aches and headache. It hurts to move. I missed my appointment with my psych. And now she can't see me for TWO WEEKS. she acted short with me. I called her TWICE yesterday because I couldn't remember the time. What EVER. I feel so ill physically and mentally. I am not going anywhere or taking anything. Maybe I will just die. My fever is 103. Idk if it could be a virus or withdrawal. I stopped taking neurontin for a few days because of the dry mouth issue. I was on 1,200 mg 3x a day. I give up.

I hope you will consider a doc appt, or even just taking some motrin to get your temp down. I hope you are feeling better soon. ((hugs))

Oh TC40 -- I hope you get well soon! It sucks when our bodies betray us and get sick. I had the flu last month and it was just awful. If your fever gets any higher or stays at 103, you need to go to the ER. That's dangerous unless you're under 13. Please take good care! HUGS!

True. High fevers in adults are dangerous. It can cause brain damage. (As if we didn't have enough problems).
Please go to the ER.

I agree with the others...103 is too high for an adult. You mention headache. Is your neck stiff? I'm not in anyway a health care provider, but this is one way my sister tested positive for meningitis. Sometimes insurance companies have a nurse on call.

I've looked up withdrawal from Gabapentin and you should NEVER just stop it... It's important I think to discuss stopping meds with your doctor always... This one can have a very difficult withdrawal... I hope you start to feel better soon.. Perhaps you should go to emerg if you continue to feel poorly... There's no reason to give up TC however I think you would be much better off working with your doctor ...x

I agree with Suncloud. I would add nobody should ever stop any med cold turkey. It should be gradual process. Withdrawal symptoms could result. Maybe this explains your stiff neck. I'm not a dr. though. I just know a dr. may be in order for you. Take care.

How bad does it have to get? You have enough going on without letting self sabatoge take over....

Please arrange care before two weeks.....
