I used to absolutely love to read. Since my cancer, bp etc etc dxs i can't concentrate....i am almost to the point where i can't finish a magazine. My first ?? Is this....anyone else experience this?
Second thing...and this is bizarre so pls don't laugh. I go to the public library almost EVERY SINGLE DAY. I bring books out with me everytime. Sometimes one sometimes 6...i take them home and i don't finish them. Im lucky if i read ten pages. Then when they are due back i take them back. They have what they call "hot" titles that u only get to keep for two weeks instead of four. When you turn them in they get reshelved pretty quickly...you can't just renew them. So ok..i return these books that i haven't even Read and then i stalk the shelves waiting for it to reappear so i can check it out again. I have even driven several miles to other branches of the library just to get the same book. And i also do this thing with books. I will already have the book at home, but if i see the same book on the shelf, i will check it out only to have to return the one i already have. At one point i had three copies checked out at one time. So the second ??? Is.....does anyone here do anything similar and also the burning ????? Wth am i doing this9?? :(

i kinda' share the same views of the library as you do. i LOVE my local library, but i'm really bad at returning books on time.
i find my comprehension skills are way, way off due to my meds.
BP, meds ,and yes I've had cancer too....I have huge issue with concentration !

When I finally got stable I was able to start reading a book at a time again. However, I still don't read as much as I used to.
