However, with that said..I adore my husband, and I take the good with the bad..you just have to figure out what YOU are want to and are able to live with.....I do believe people can change with the right help and willingness. You can grow together but only if both parties are on the same page with that. Hope that makes sense.
Can you expand your social network so that you are not just focused on him? And can you set limits on him in terms of his trying to control your activities? It sounds like a firm boundary between the two of you needs to be set here. Couples don't always have to be into each other's business day and night. That's not healthy.
His overreaction to a Facebook posting does not bode well. He sounds like someone who rages over nothing; those people can be abusive.
I'd talk to a couples counselor before you get married. And I'd broaden your social circle so you are not cut off from the world.
