I just am thinking about you and myself on this day. The holidays make me think of times, before I was sick and when I was younger. The world seemed a lot warmer and full of love back then. I am deeply grateful
for all the support my friends here give - and I hope we all add something to each others' lives.
It can be a lonely road, the walk we have to walk - but this is a good place to connect and I give thanks for that.
So I hope your day is a good one. That there is something that cheers you today and is enough to give thanks for.

I'm supposed to go out to eat with friends, but my mom is really worried that they'll start drinking and then I will drink, too.
I promised her I wouldn't. I swear, if they drink, I'll be so mad at them. I've been sober way too long!
my friend flew in from TX & we stayed up oober late ta catch up. watchin the dog show & she's stayin til early sunday am. gots a tiny turkey & a pie.
