Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

I keep on trying to deduce what my error is, so that I won't repeat the mistake that gets me into trouble.
I am finding I have been down this road before and I am just having
a bad time with greater moods swings the past couple of days.
I am waiting to start a volunteer position but in the interim I am finding that going to work and coming home (patiently biding my time)
isn't enough.
I tend to spend a lot of time watching television which is deceptively not a good thing to do.
I have thought to go to the gym. Something that I don't do because I am too exhausted.
I do things for my housemates here at the 'board and care' where I live and that helps me feel better. I drive them to the downtown area and to their work and that's worthwhile.
Right now I am about to go to bed, I am so tired.
When I have time to think about it, my problems magnify and the life that I have left seems impossibly unbearable. Sitting here wasting away in a 'board and care' and in the extreme of it, I forget that I will be
doing this great volunteer thing at the hospital coming soon. That brings me back down to earth. That also may lead to a potential 'future' in a way too. I have to rethink what I hope for in my life and then maybe edit what's possible or what's closer to achievable right now and what has to be put on the 'back burner'.
Thanks for reading.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

the catch-22 is the powers that be that hold the whole rat-race together make it damned near impossible to live any other way. starving artist sounds romantic, but the reality is that falling asleep at night hungry sucks donkeyballs.
this volunteer program sounds like your ticket mark...it sounds amazing and it will add colour to the grey. good for you for giving your time. most people only sell their time.
I've been through agonizing over not doing what's worthwhile all the time. I finally decided that I was being too judgmental and that we need to do what we need to, when we need to. So maybe think about what's necessary. Sometimes that includes watching tv or being on the puter.
For me the goal is to survive and whatever helps that has to be good!
Thank you !!!
xx
