I'm going to Texas on monday and am feeling extra anxious today I normally feel this way from the Prozac, but today seems extra. I uped my Klonopin , but it doesn't seem to be helping Do you think I could just be anxious about the trip or does it sound more like my med's?

I see you are not on a mood stabilizer - both anti-depressents and Abilify can cause anxiety. I'm not really quite sure what is up with the US trend of using anti-psychotics and no mood stabilizer

The US is undergoing severe addictions and misuse of perscription drugs......many of which are "mood" meds

the reasoning behind using AP's with no mood stabilizers is that many of the newer AP's have mood stabilizing qualities

true William, but then mood stabiler's are also anti-psychotics and I think there is some debate about the atypical anti-psychotics mood stabilization properties.

I know Abilify for example is being heavily promoted in the US even for depression and there is a major "consumer" movement against them which is probably at least partly justified.

They "say" that they have mood stabilizing attributes, but the ones I have taken have not really served (for me) that purpose. The "mood" part of it seems to be that it makes you a zombie, therefor you are no longer able to be unstable.....not quite the same

    I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car. I think it's the only time I spend reflecting. Chronic tiredness from Long Covid plus the immunosupressing meds for my Crohn's is slowing me down but everything just seems a massive effort. I am dealing with the paperwork following my father's death but it's not...

    Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner.  I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings.  But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!
